Synopsis: This session will comprehensively explore the concept of pre-myopia from its identification to management, including discussion of its context within myopia development, examination protocols to appropriately identify individuals with pre-myopia, and appropriate management strategies. Myopia control treatments and their application to pre-myopia will be explored, as well as communication strategies for discussing the concept of pre-myopia and its management with patients and caregivers.

- Apply appropriate optical and pharmacological myopia control treatment strategies to successfully manage pre-myopia, including consideration of acceptable treatment outcomes.
